Are you building a venture that’s aiming to solve real world problems. If your answer is yes, then you need to grow fast, get funding, connections and exposure, Hub Ventures can help you out.  Hub Ventures is San Francisco based startup accelerator that helps entrepreneurs grow their ventures faster and better by providing seed funding, mentorship and exposure. They are currently accepting applications for their 2012 batch, and the last day to apply is March 5th.

Hub Ventures is looking for startup ideas that have potential to scale, achieve profitability, and create a significant measurable impact on the world. They generally work with “technology for good” companies and other ventures working in a variety of impact areas including mobile technology for development, collaborative consumption, healthy food systems, off-grid solar, clean water, public health, and civic engagement.

Entrepreneurs from all over the world can apply. Once you are accepted into the program, you’ll be required to spend 12 weeks in San Francisco. During the 12-week program, startups are provided with seed funding ($10,000 -$20,000), mentorship, collaborative sessions, workshops, and investor connections with an opportunity to pitch to over hundreds of bay area investors.
